UGANDA NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARDS

Following the recent notices on the issuance of IDs from the Uganda Mission in New York, the Mission is pleased to inform that Ugandans within the Tri-State areas of New York , New Jersey and Connecticut who wish to register for National IDs ( fresh applications) may now book their appointments for registration at the Uganda Mission in New York. 

Appointments can be booked online for Nationals IDs pickups and Registration on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays every week by visiting the Permanent Mission website. 
Please note that this service is offered free of charge by the Mission with the exception of the National ID replacements.

Requirements for National ID registration

1. Original passport 
2. Original birth certificate 
3. Photocopy of National ID of one or both of the applicant's parents.
4. Recommendation for LC which will be issued by the Mission upon satisfaction of the required documents. 
5. Duly filled form to be issued by the Mission.
